See the Inside Scoop - That's What Matters!
Wouldn't it be cool to see people from the inside, rather than the outside...WE have all wondered what we said or did to cause others to make rash judgements that may not have been accurate. We hear people remark "get the inside scoop". That's the real heart of things. The truth. If we could see the heart first with our eyes, we would be more centered on the truth, or the inside scoop, rather than the outward appearance. Many assumptions, misconceptions and first impressions would be so different. A lot of people spend many countless hours and dollars working on their physical appearance. This is not a bad thing, if it is not what matters the most to them. Likewise, if we spent more time working on our inside, we would all be better off.
The heart should be the inside scoop we are focused on knowing. This is what matters. Maybe that's why we refer to a dish of ice cream, as a scoop of ice cream. Wow, the scoop, that's the really good stuff!
Recently a statistic I ran across amazed me. Consumers are bombarded over 7,000 times a day with mind cluttering advertisements. No wonder we can't see from our eyes. The power of visualization, focusing on the scoop and what matters is what we need to concentrate on. Seeing the beauty and finding happiness in the midst of our days. We are so fortunate to be blessed to live in one of the most beautiful areas in the world. My sincerest desire is for those closest to me to see the inside scoop and what matters most. Not all the clutter or stuff! How we spend our time is a high indication of what we value most. We should all take the time to see the inside of those we connect with daily. Any time you have the opportunity to share your heart, you will be blessed and renewed in ways you could not have imagined.
One way to share the inside scoop with your children and grandchildren is to journal for them. They will truly get the inside scoop from your heart if you take the time to write down special things that take place in your lives. My husband's mom passed her journal to him when she died. Since I never had the pleasure of meeting his mom, it is awesome to read her journal she gave him. This is what matters most, sharing with others.
Hopefully some people that read this will recognize we all influence others, so it is better to give the inside scoop "from your heart".
God sees beyond and knows the truth or "the inside scoop" and so can we.
