If you've heard me speak about Bella Success, you've heard me speak about "scheduling the rocks in your life"  Those "rocks" are the things we value most - faith, family, and how we spend our time. 

We are not defined by our circumstances - we are defined by our choices. 

The first rock is Prayer.  Ask God, and He will answer.  Schedule the time in your life to pray.  The first thing every day, thank God for this day.  Also, guard your mind.  Don't allow worry, or thoughts of fear to cloud your focus.  Avoid negative people, and their cynical influence - people who are always seeing the down side of everything, people who are fearful.  Don't allow their drama to bring negative energy into your life.  We all know people like this, and love them, but we have to guard against their negativity and cynicism.  It just doesn't enhance your bottom line. Instead, think and believe in abundance.

The second rock is Family.  Focus on making memories, rather than making money.  Take vacations, spend time together.  When you are spending time with your family, whether it is on vacation, at dinner, at a basketball game - leave the cell phone behind.  Family time is for family.  It's not what we say, it's what we do.  And be sure to include pets in your family!  Remember, love is a choice. 

Finally, Business is your third rock.  Real estate funds my life, but it is not my life.  I like the 80-20 rule - 80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts, and you are better off focusing your life on living your best life.  Don't allow timewasters into your business, focused effort pays off.  Develop a deeper connection with your clients through regular follow up phone calls, hand written notes, and special events.
